WHAT IS INCLUDED IN AN LEV TEST?

* A careful assessment of the performance of the LEV system, using fully calibrated instruments as well as observation of the system in use.
* An overall assessment of the effectiveness of the LEV to adequately control the exposure to airborne contaminants.
Following the inspection, the LEV will be classed as satisfactory (pass) or unsatisfactory (fail), and a detailed report will be issued, providing you with the reasons and any actions or recommendations required as a result.

TEST REPORTS
It is a legal requirement that a record of the LEV test is kept for at least
five years. If we carry out your examination, our degree qualified (MSc, BSc
Hons) engineer and BOHS qualified testers will provide you with a detailed
report on the effectiveness of your system, along with any required remedial
work or recommendations. This includes an overall assessment, along with all
associated measurements and readings.
We also include a 3-D drawing of your system, indicating important
components and test points, along with any photographs taken during the
test. You can rest assured that you will be fulfilling your obligation to
ensure your equipment reaches the standards required, keeping your staff
safe.
