"System performance calculations have been carried out for the counter-flow heat exchanger core component of an in-service heat recovery ventilation (HRV) system. The performance calculations show that the heat exchanger core component of the heat recovery ventilation system was operating with an average effectiveness of around 50% during the monitoring period. Furthermore, the average fouling factor during this time only increased by a very small amount."
